“ Went here for a Sunday brunch event with a large party. Right off the bat, there was plenty of parking & they have their own lot. So convenient! Stylish decor and spacious, this place definitely feels like a trendy brunch place. They serve alcohol, coffee, beer, breakfast & lunch foods. Some of my party complained that the bloody Mary's weren't spicy & my egg white veggie scramble was mostly mushrooms & onions (I would've like more actual egg & spinach). The side of bacon was perfectly cooked & the cinnamon roll was yummy (very sweet!). The servers were attentive & we didn't have to wait too long for the food. When it was time to pay, they were able to split everyone's bill that they print out with a QR code to pay via phone. I would come back if invited, but probably not a place I would crave to go back to. ”
“ The Genuine is a cozy neighborhood spot with great aesthetic and quality food and service. It has a fireplace, beautiful bar, and is dark and cozy. Perfect for date night. We ordered the Wood Fired Dates (amazingggg!), Wood Fired Cauliflower and Truffle pizza. All delicious. ”
“ My friends and I dined at the authentic restaurant tonight to celebrate my sister's birthday, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff were warm and inviting. Our waitress, April, demonstrated extensive knowledge of the menu, offered excellent food and drink recommendations, and even assisted with the birthday cake I brought for my sister. The drinks were exceptional, and the happy hour prices were unbeatable. The food was incredibly flavorful and was served promptly and at the perfect temperature. I am eagerly looking forward to my next visit. April, if you happen to see this, thank you very much for your outstanding service and assistance. ”
“ We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at The Genuine and it was FABULOUS. My mother in law connected with Caitlin to plan our event, and everything was seamless. Caitlin had a discovery call with my mother in law, where she was able to review the menu items for our dinner. We decided to choose seating in the front of the restaurant near the fire pit, which enhanced the ambiance for our guests. For appetizers, we went with the wood fire cauliflower and the chicken lollipops. They were DELICIOUS. For entrees, we went with the sirloin tips, salmon, and kale salad. Everything was cooked to perfection. There was a minor hiccup with our dessert, but Jennifer was able to troubleshoot the issue, and she had some fresh cookies baked for us from a local bakery. We had a fantastic evening, and our guests had a great experience at The Genuine! ”
“ Stopped here for happy hour last Friday, and I'm so glad I did. Our bartender was very friendly and attentive. Decent selection of food and drink on happy hour. Everything was delicious. ”
“ The Genuine - Phoenix, AZ: A Must-Visit Brunch Spot The Genuine in Phoenix has quickly become one of my favorite brunch destinations in the city. From the moment you step inside, the ambiance exudes elegance, striking the perfect balance between upscale and inviting. The service is impeccable--our host was exceptionally quick and attentive, ensuring we felt welcomed right away. One standout feature is their bottomless mimosas, which I highly recommend. They're perfectly balanced, refreshing, and a great complement to the meal. Now, let's talk about the food: the pizza was a revelation. As a northerner who takes pizza very seriously, I was skeptical at first. But wow--the crust was perfectly crisp, the flavors were bold, and the overall quality was surprisingly impressive. Whether you're a Phoenix local or just visiting, The Genuine should be at the top of your brunch list. Great service, flavorful dishes, and a sophisticated yet comfortable atmosphere make it a true gem. ”
“ We went to the Genuine for all day drink happy hour on Thursday and got $5 martinis and I got a pizza. It was a group of 6 of us and we had a reservation, glad we did as it was busy! The bar is absolutely stunning and our server was super kind. We had to wait for our second round of drinks to be replenished but other than that the service was great. I had the caccio e peppe pizza and it was delicious. The ranch they have here is also super yummy and was great for dipping my pizza in. I had the lime in the coconut martini and it was so refreshing and creamy. I think it has become of my new favorite cocktails ever. I would definitely come back again for martini happy hour. ”
“ The Genuine is such an awesome place! We came in for happy hour and were not disappointed! $19 for a bottle of mouse wine AND a margarita pizza- that is such a deal! We tried multiple happy hour options: the margarita pizza, warm olives, and the cacio de Pepe pizza! All three of these items were so delicious and tasted amazing from the wood fired stove! We also ordered the whipped black pepper feta with a pita off the dinner menu. The whipped feta was so smooth and flavorful. The flavor mix with the honey was perfect! Our waiter was so friendly and attentive! Kept our waters full and made sure to check in! We really enjoyed coming here! The restaurant is very modern and clean! I will say the music is pretty loud which makes it harder to talk but overall loved it! ”
“ I genuinely enjoyed this restaurant. It had a modern retro vibe, if that makes sense. This place caught my attention on Instagram when I saw $5 martinis on Thursdays! (There are also $10 pizzas on Wednesdays.) My boyfriend and I rated it a 3.5/5, and we'd come back for happy hour, which is what we did on our visit! Their selection on the HH menu has some good options. I think the star of the show were the cottage fries! It was similar to a thick potato chip, but with a dense and soft bite as opposed to a crunch. The onion dip that was paired with it was also delicious. I think I could dip anything in it. My least favorite thing was the sesame seed crackers with the ahi tuna tartare. It didn't match the flavor. I would have much rather have a sort of wonton-type chip with it. As for their martinis, I would highly recommend the prickly lychee one! We loved it. I wish I tried all of their martinis because for $5, why not? Though, the "lime in the coconut" one sounded good in theory, but we were not fans because the banana liquor was overwhelming. We made a reservation because we were unsure how busy it would be since it was a thirsty Thursday night. It seemed to pick up within an hour! Their parking lot is small, but looks like they have additional designated parking in a separate area. The waitress we had was very sweet and attentive. Overall, a good spot. ”
“ I am a big fan of many of the Genuine Concepts restaurants. The Womack, Vig and Little Woody are some of my regular stops. I came here to the Genuine for the first time and enjoyed the inviting atmosphere. I love the 1970's living room vibe to the lounge area with its funky plants and wood frame sofa seating. The long retro curtains brought back memories of my childhood home that I grew up in. Dining out is not just about the food for me. I enjoy the experience of checking out a new establishment and appreciate when they pay attention to detail with their decorations. The kitchen is an open-kitchen concept with a wood-fired oven. I was a line cook back in the day and enjoyed watching Chef Jeremy and his team do their magic. I came here for happy hour and ordered some house-made bread and pizza. The Cacio e Pepe and Three Pigs are solid choices if you order pizza here. They have a number of small plates on the menu if you are wanting an appetizer before your meal. For cocktails, I ordered a Spicy Prick and Nitro Espresso Martini and enjoyed them both. Overall, I had a nice time here and always enjoy visiting this part of Phoenix. The Genuine hosts dinner pairing nights and you can reserve tickets on their website. They also partake in Arizona Restaurant Week. Reservations can be made on OpenTable. ”
